Pictures and experiences - Sunday storytelling at Cubbon Park

Lush green surroundings. Fresh, cool breeze. An energetic, bubbling crowd.

What more could I ask for? I had a lovely time narrating the story of Avani and the Pea Plant this Sunday.

It was an event organized by The Hindu, among many other events - to celebrate Cycle Day. I was there on behalf of Pratham Books.

So many people turned out to cheer me on and support me - ex-classmates, ex-colleagues, childhood friends, blogger friends, my parents of course - it was lovely!

Here are some pictures until I can find some words to describe how it felt! Or perhaps I should just let the pictures do the talking for me.

Great to hear that you enjoyed it. The pics too say the same thing. I missed it. Are you here on vacation? Let me know if you are having a story telling event organised in Bangalore in the near future? Would love to bring my kids.

Thank you, Geeta! I'll let you know when the next public event is. I'll put it up on the blog.

Sarvana, this was a one-off event, so I don't know if there's going to be a next time!

I do not know you.I just came up after reading an old review of Papeeha movie by you.It was dated back in 2006.And it's probably the best review I've ever seen.Same like you I'm also a man from last decade and have the same feeling after watching the movie. But it's you who expressed our emotions so delicately.I hope today's generation also read that and can feel the warmth of those days.I just express my sincere thanks to you.
